Hi, my name is Timothy Poon—my friends call me Tim for short—and I'm a writer, designer, and developer.

Designer and Developer
My design and development careers have led me to Texas Tech where I've worked for the Petroleum Engineering department and their Southwest Petroleum Short Courses initiative. I also worked for Yum! Brands, the parent company of numerous fast food restaurants like Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC, Long John Silvers, A&W Restaurants, and more.
Writer
I used to write for The Daily Toreador, the daily campus newspaper for Texas Tech University, as their resident technology, video game, and social media expert, but I currently write for Platform Nation, a network of video game-centric podcasts and web communities, and New Game Plus, a video game blog of my and Britton Peele's rejected ideas.
Everything Else
On a more personal note, I play dodgeball for the National Dodgeball League with my team Adrenaline Rush (you can see pictures of us playing on my Picasa web albums). I'm also somewhat of a foodie, slightly addicted to video games, and a serious technology enthusiast.
